In the time I've been gone, DA started doing some prints thing. Fuck that. If you want prints, contact me and I'll print a good one myself and mail it to you. Pricing is by photograph, but probably between $35 and $75. Affordable, but enough that you know I'm not just goofing around here.
Anyway, with the business end out of the way, let's talk pleasure. Unless otherwise mentioned, all photographs were shot on a 1973 Minolta Super T with a fixed 50mm lens. I got the lens used and it wobbles around so sometimes my focus'll slip if I'm all the way open to F/1.8. All of the black and whites I'll be scanning at first are Ilford HP5+, developed in XTOL. But I just bought 100 feet of Fomapan 400 because it's cheaper and a great stock, despite some detractors. You just have to rate it at 250 instead of 400.
If you see me using color film stock, it's probably just Walgreens 400 ISO. But I am becoming increasingly eclectic in my stock selections for both color and black and white, in an effort to familiarize myself with all stocks and their respective appearances.
That's a good primer into what's up. Also, ignore the "File" line in comments. That's for me to know how the original negative is filed.
